My role is to help the business steer the right direction for both short and long-term sustainability, improve the way we operate and govern the business, support our people and grow in a profitable way. From regional NSW farming areas, my business experience crosses agriculture, financial services, insurance and investment sectors, with responsibilities including leading strategy, customer management, sales, finance, innovation and organisational change. A geophysicist by training, I worked in the resources industry before 20-years in investment banking and financial services, then returning to agriculture as Chief Development Officer executive at GrainCorp and leading Charles Sturt University’s AgriPark Innovation precinct. I now enjoy working with Australia’s agri-food innovation sector and start-up community – as a mentor, business coach, strategy advisor and investor.
