Nine dairy nutritionists from the Japanese Dairy consortium Meiji recently toured our Cobden Mill and a customer’s dairy farm in the South-West. They were fascinated with the daily mechanics of an Australian dairy farm. They sighted limited pasture grazing and a predominant focus on Total Mixed Rations as some of the considerable differences between the two farming systems.
