The rollout of our stockfeed bags in Ag stores across the state continues to gather momentum. A new warehouse shed is expected to be started in February 2016 making Trevor Cotton a much happier man. The infrastructure required for the new line of bags is being installed with their launch at the Sungold Field Days and distribution beginning immediately afterwards. If you notice an absence of our feed in your local Ag store and would like the convenience of purchasing it there please get in touch with us on 1300 331 425.
Further news on the packaged product front saw Bess Lamont win a “Best Vendor” award for the South-West at MG Trading’s sales seminar. On top of this she achieved a spot in the finalist division for the entire state, an enormous achievement when competing against multiple service personnel from other companies. Congratulations Bess, some thoroughly deserved recognition for much hard work. We will have further exciting news about the launch of our new dairy packaging in the next newsletter.
In poultry news the work on the new Genius batching system has been completed in Colbinabbin. A CSL accreditation was achieved by the Colbinabbin site (quality certification) from the Specialised Breeders Flock (Hyline) making it only one of two Stockfeed manufacturing sites in Australia to have been awarded this. The entire staff of Colbinabbin should be commended with their efforts in the last 24-months with making the site upgrade a reality. The high grade, consistency of the feed has not only been reflected by official accreditation but also with positive feedback from the customer base across the board. Congratulations!
Thank-you to all suppliers, customers and staff who pitched in for raising monies donated to South West Healthcare. Your contribution helped collect $8,000 which will be invested in Chemo chairs for the new cancer centre, allowing South-West residents to be treated locally rather than travelling far from home to Melbourne. Significant work has been done by the team in raising donations in the last half dozen years with a collective $50,000 pledged.
Finally Rosli Reid was recognised as a finalist for the Telstra Business Awards for thirty-odd years of work in helping turn a home-based, feed manufacturing business into one of Australia’s largest privately-owned producers and suppliers of stockfeed.
